Pel Softlabs private limited or pelsoft was incorporated in 2005 under Indian Companies Act, 1956. The company is in the ICT domain, that is, Information technology, Communication & Telecommunication . Ever since its inception, the company has been serving individuals & businesses alike. Having started with National Electronic Literacy Mission in 2005 , a mission dedicated towards educating computers to individuals at their own site on their convenient days & timings. With the mobile users increasing at a skyrocket pace in India, this served as a easy & quick method of communicating with a large audience without spending a lot in Media like Newspapers & Television. Before the advent of SMS, in the digital media, only bulk Emails could have achieved such an outreach to users. Pelsoftlabs customers have always found the interfaces quite easy to use. However, back in 2008, though mobile penetration was high, mobile internet was not that popular in India and hence even Emails could not guarantee being read by the recipients instantly whereas in case of SMS, this challenge was met as it reached on the hand held mobile of the users instantly. The VAS industry was welcome by the users due to its ease of use and its quick reach to the audience and like wise Pelsoft SMS became a sought after commodity by businesses that wished to send important communication to users . Soon after, the finance industry also embraced these services as it enabled them to communicate One time passwords and other important communication relating to the Financial transactions of users at large.
